New York Condo Laws

While a condominium is considered real property in New York, an owner cannot do anything he wants to do with the property. The limits on significant changes to the property are even greater than with houses. The by laws wholesale jerseys that are passed by the condominium owners' association can restrict behavior and changes to the property. They may limit audible noise after a certain hour, or they may restrict certain types of behavior such as pet ownership. Many condominium by laws contain a "no waiver" cheap nba jerseys provision, which means that even when the association has chosen not to enforce the rule in the past, this does not prevent them from doing so in the future.
In most cases, courts show great deference to the by laws of a condominium association, so there is little chance of winning in court. Those who violate the rules may have to pay damages to the association, and injunctive relief can be ordered in Dt5FW6a9x which the court will order the resident to stop doing a certain thing. Section 339 k prohibits any activity that would "reduce the value" of the entire property. This section also prohibits adding anything significant to the structure of the building or excavating a basement without the consent of the unit owners. http://www.planetpoodle.de/discussion/viewtopic.php?p=12489#12489
